This may be a weird place to start but that is the whole point of this blog, it is one place for me (ever the purple flying people-pleaser) to please no-one but myself.
So... now I can indulge in the pleasures that life has to offer: alcohol, coffee, tea, bikinis, swearing!! etc.
I'll start with alcohol. It doesn't taste very nice does it? Over the last few months I've tried several brands of beer, so far I like Corona the best. I've tried red and white wine, that must be an acquired taste. I dooo like champagne though. Spirits were just as awful as I remembered from my teenage flirtation with them. However, on New Years Eve I had a Strawberry Daiquiri at the Grapeskin Cafe in Northbridge and I was pleasantly surprised (my purse was a little less enthusiastic!). A few weeks later we returned to this lovely establishment and I had a French Martini and I was in love! I guess since Pineapple Juice has always been my favourite drink it was natural that I would fall for this heavenly beverage. Enjoy!
